How does the Scrabble word finder work?

Enter up to 7 rack tiles and optionally add blank (wildcard) tiles. The tool checks every word in the dictionary to find those you can form from your tiles, then sorts them by Scrabble score.

How are blank tiles scored?

Blank tiles act as wildcards and can represent any letter, but they score 0 points. The finder accounts for this when calculating word scores.

Are the words valid for official Scrabble play?

All words come from a curated dictionary of valid English words. While word legality can vary between Scrabble dictionaries (TWL vs SOWPODS), the vast majority are accepted in competitive play.
